SkareKro is the studio name of illustrator and comic artist Jeremy O'Ryan. The work leans into loose, high-energy cartooning — big heads, bigger eyes, heavy black linework — built from pencil and ink before it ever sees color.

On the page

Jeremy contributes pencils, inks, and digital color across issues of Peanut' Puddin' n' Jelly, the all-ages comic from Hazzum Productions. Outside of that, SkareKro Art has self-published the Little Heroes Coloring Book, and keeps a running pile of personal sketches, character studies, and fan-art pin-ups — the kind of drawing that happens because a character wandered into his head and wouldn't leave.

At the table

Most of that work gets its first audience at a convention table: sketch cards, inked commissions, prints pinned up behind him, and usually a carved pumpkin or a rubber prop within reach. SkareKro has become as much a recurring character as a byline — a bearded, wide-eyed stand-in who shows up signing his own posters.
